Develop habits. They lead to consistency.
A habit is a “settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.” Oftentimes, our habits are bad. They involve laziness, poor decision making, or overindulging. When those types of habits are “hard to give up” you can imagine how they’ll compound over time in a very negative way.
I’m in the business of making good habits — both literally and figuratively. My business is based around first helping individuals create habits that will steer them in a positive direction. From there, we tackle goal setting and taking fitness and nutrition to the next level.
From a personal standpoint, I’ve taken fitness from being something that’s uncomfortable and gets me sweaty and hurts, to something I do every day. It’s something that is so regularly part of my routine that now I feel uncomfortable when I don’t exercise in some way, shape, or form.
Make 2019 about creating new habits — ones that are productive. Start small, and build slowly into a brand new healthy lifestyle.
